This may have been hashed and rehashed, but I'm just getting on after spending another game day at Clemson.
How much longer will our coaches continue to ignore special teams and expect different results. I was at Florida State the year that we gave up 2 TDs because of kicking screw-ups. We've changed head coaches since then, and a good part of the staff as well. I have no hope that our special team play will ever improve. Having a coach as a part-time special teams coach when he has no experience is NOT WORKING! I know that we are limited on the number of coaches, but when the Offense has a "head coach" and the defense has a "head coach" and every position has a position coach, it doesn't seem to much to ask that special teams has at least ONE coach. Until there is a specialist with focus on special teams, that part of the game will continue to bring down our team.
