Noticed it watching the replay. He missed badly. If he makes the block on that play we would have had the first down and the 4th and 6 drama likely would have been avoided. But the 4th and 6 drama led to the biggest pass completion of our former 3rd string QB’s career to that point and ultimately to a stirring comeback victory - so all’s well that ends well, I suppose. Still, #44 needs to make that block.

Who watch the game closely posted months ago how valuable Williams return to the line up was for the Tigers. He was a huge missing ingredient last year. Especially in the final game. The coaches do a tremendous job of using the talent available to them.

KB won a lot of games for our Tigers because the coaches knew how to develop a good team around his talents. Dabo has said he can win with all the QBs we have had and he is correct. The coaches put every guy in position to be winners. Not every team can do that.

If you look back at the tape, the play that you are referring to is a counter. It is intended to go inside of 44. It is an inside out block. This is the same play that was killing them all day when the back ran inside. The RBs bounced it a couple of times and had success and the last drive he went outside the block and missed the hole. If he sees room on the outside let him take it but you cannot think the lead block who is anticipating the back going inside will be able to adjust to a seal block.
