Someone explain (calling all fleabags)

Do you really think Erin Murray handing over her purse to Hutson Mason a few games earlier than planned is really going to make that big a difference in the performance of the two quarterbacks on Saturday?
Correct me if I'm wrong, but aren't both quarterbacks highly touted 5th year seniors, neither of which having much experience, but both of which having perceptively high ceilings?
I think the outcome of this game comes down to quarterback/secondary play, but I just don't understand why dawg fans seem to think their quarterback has some life changing, talent altering football experience that makes him a god among 1st year starting quarterbacks.
Will someone enlighten me? TIA

ClassicCity is a homer ...just that simple. I am a Clemson homer though ...I like our guy Stoudt. I lile our defense stopping their run game. I think we win by 6.

No 2.5 games doesn't make a difference although part of this was leading up to bowl game. But the kid has been in the program 5 years and we've never had poor qb play under richt. He hawks on the qbs the way saban does dbs.
Am worried about our defense in first game with new coordinator. Doesn't matter if he's good or not there's always a learning curve. Clemson may well win but it will be because they outscore us. The folks on here saying we will be held to 10 or 14 points just don't kn

I seem to remember your last 1 year to start senior playing rather poorly or at least average at best.

You've probably got a scoop there - and a really good understanding of the game.

All their egos will hit the floor of sanford stadium so hard next Saturday night, they won't be showing their face around here anymore. Before the clock starts, they are NC, at the final tic of the clock, they will be humiliated!!!

all things considered this game is on Stoudt's shoulders. Mason doesn't have to win this game by himself. Clemson will not run on Georgia. Your oline depth is perilous at best. It will be crazy loud when Clemson has the ball....not so much when Mason has it. Our kicker is a projected AA and he's kicking at home.

Well, if one can muddle through the blatant insults and witticisms herein it appears you are asking if Mason's game experience is more valuable and character building than Cole's.
Mason game time is against ranked opponents.
Cole game time is against sisters of the poor.
One paper: Mason > Cole = experience.
Second question:
Aren't both quarterbacks highly touted 5th years seniors?
No, they are not but they have a place called Tigernet where you can actually learn about the players on your team before you post gibberish.
I hope this helped.

UGA is hyping Mason like he's the second coming of Eric Zeier. Which is possible, I suppose, but probable? Nah.
They also know nothing about Stoudt, which is fine. We all know he's a cool customer with an efficient arm and an ability to run, and he doesn't get rattled by much. So far he reminds me of Charlie Whitehurst.

My honest opinion is I dont know if Mason is that much better than Stoudt or not. (Dont think we have enough proof either way and think both have solid experience)
However, Mason has more proven talent around him, better depth on the OL, and is playing in front of his home crowd.
I think the situation hugely favors Mason to be more successful than Stoudt.
Will it play out that way on Saturday? Only time will tell...

How do you know that? What big time game on the road did he appear in and not get rattled?

Doesn't get rattled vs. South Carolina State maybe....@ home where there's no pressure to win the game. 19 of 20 but only for 143 yards. Did he ever throw it down field? Coming in after the game is already decided is a much more favorable scenario than when you have the game on your shoulders in a hostile environment. We shall see. Go Dawgs!
