For anyone postulating that the "National Guard simply(sic) runs around on weekends carrying live ammo...", I would offer the following two sites for your edification:

You have a lot to be proud about, and I should've known ('better') when I saw the 1st Cav patch. The pic attached is of a GREAT American that I am proud to say is a very good, long time friend of mine - and from whom I was first 'educated' as to my second class status and learned 'IYACYAS'.
Thankfully he is now enjoying the retired life down in Bluffton and we ride, party and debate the virtues of Johnnie Walker and Jack Daniels whenever I am able to get to the low country and reconnect with him.
