Mack has been hearing he's the #1 potential draft pick at the CB position since preseason... Do you think that makes him play softer in the national championship game? No way.
The one thing I will agree with is Saban saying he is never willing to discuss strategy or anything else to media personnel. I like the sealed-lip approach. But I don't think finding out your draft grade has a negative impact on player performance. If anything, I'm sure Kearse is ticked off after hearing he's a 2nd round grade for instance... I'd imagine that would only motivate you to play harder, no?
