I believe he takes year off and waits for another job. But If coots fire Ward then its obvious that South Carolina will push hard at having him become the new defensive coordinator. They will throw so much $$$$ at him to get him there. I hope it doesn't happen because Will is a good defensive coach and recruiter.

wasn't a single Dcoord interested in their opening after Ellis Johnson left. Muschamp can find a job at a much better program.

I don't think they went after anyone when Ellis left. Ward already had the DC title so when Ellis left, they just hired a new position coach.
