recruiting faux pas and him not gracefully passing the torch now is not very classy. I had always thought of him as a class act- seeing otherwise now though.

Mack's two biggest mistakes have been terrible D coordinator hires since Muschamp and horrid QB evaluating and recruiting. The talent is there for a quick return to the top. IMHO.

Interesting. I wonder if Brown survives and Muschamp was canned, he would return to TX as DC? However I think Muschamp will be given another year at FL.

Brown was supposed to meet with Texas athletic director Steve Patterson and UT president Bill Powers last night. Recent articles now say the meeting was or is going to happen sometime today. Brown deflected all questions about his future in his bowl press conference earlier today. Articles from a few days ago still suggest that if an announcement is made, it will be at the football banquet sometime tonight.
