So what exactly defines "class"?

Dec 4, 2017, 8:44 AM

Obviously not throwing water bottles and flipping birds at players...

But what actually defines it in the college realm? I've seen some feathered friends in Columbia losing their minds over our boys and Dabo mocking the turnover chain in the locker room after the game. They're squawking that it's classless.

So do we argue it's classless to poke fun at the team we just beat? Or is it young men having fun celebrating?

Is it classless, as fans, to rub it in against our rival when we win? So long as it doesn't get ugly and personal?

What do you define as the line?

I define it as poking fun at the other side when you win but not taking unnecessary personal jabs or other hurtful comments towards someone who doesn't deserve it (obviously fights and throwing objects goes way over the line). I think poking fun at a Jake Bentley who takes shots at Clemson before the game is fine. Laughing at an opposing player who gets hurt isn't very cool.

no one at UNC has to attend yet they still get grades and stay eligible. And the NCAA allows this

I think the "class" Dabo refers to is how you act in the public eye...on the field...limelight type of situations. What we do in our locker room behind closed door is for the team no one else. I personally hate that there are cameras and media in the locker room anyways. JMO

I can tell you what defines class,it’s Dabo , when we were getting beat by better teams a few years ago and reporters were asking him questions and him replying, we want to be as good or better than the team who just beat us and in order to do that we have to work harder, recruit better and coach better.Thats class .He never blamed any one for the problems at Clemson he went to work to get better with out degrading the coots. They can’t do that and that’s classless.
