Because when you appear to have folks on the broadcast team making snide comments with smirks it makes it look like a clown show.
Best is the Standard right? Well that was not best by a long shot.

Since we are on the topic, what do you think of HC Mark Richt in the broadcast? He may be a really good guy but he exudes the passion of a wet mop on air. Not much different than Urban to be fair but that just means neither is very good at being on air.

I’m probably in the minority on Mark Richt , but I like him .
He’s has totally changed my perception of him from a serious HC to a guy who is laid back and doesn’t mind crawling on the floor to make a point or just draw a laugh from his tv buddy’s or viewers .

That’s what I’m wondering. I know the one commentator was annoying people with the “he could be a DB in the SEC” for the 49ers DB other than that I have no clue what they are talking about.

I never notice the commentators, sideline reporters, etc. I just watch the game. I never understood how others get caught up in all of the other nonsense.

Maybe because there was no game picture going on when it took place. Kinda hard to miss it then and makes it stand out yugely.

To each his own. I never really care what they say. Been watching football for 35 years and I have never been bothered or annoyed by any of them. I dont care what they say. It barely enters my ears. Its meaningless. They are just fluff. I am too caught up in the game even on breaks. I dont pay attention to anything but the game or just whatever I am doing at home. The rest is just noise.

Marck Richt doesn't feel right on ACCN

I always get the feeling Mark Richt really wants to talk more Gary Danielson style about the depth and speed of the SEC. Richt I know graduated from Miami but really made his name at Georgia.
It will take a bit of time to where I don't feel like he is a turn coat SEC homer keeping tabs on the league Clemson is in.
