So remind me why Purdue was so excited that Brohm

Oct 5, 2019, 12:40 PM

turned down Louisville?

Well on their way to a 1-4 start this year in his third season. Yes he greatly improved the program from the dire depths of the Hazell days but he hasn't done anything to show that he is going to do something special with Purdue.

He is not bad by ay means but they way they celebrated when he said he was going to stay made it seem like they had just reeled in a Hall of Famer

I bet he has weak talent to boot. Penn State is the real deal.

Because they know that no matter who the coach is, it’s still Purdue football. Saban or Dabo could coach there and struggle to win 6 games.

The program has been utter trash in recent years before Brohm. Last year showed some promise.

This year, the opening loss to Nevada was a gut punch. I didn't see any of the TCU game so not sure what happened. Then last week both the starting QB and Rondale Moore were knocked out for the season on the same play. It was surreal. Of course, they ended up losing.

So don't judge them by Penn State today. Their minds probably aren't all there. The season is a total loss now.

I'm a Purdue grad and have no problem at all with Brohm so far.

Google the Nevada game. It was truly from the Twilight Zone.

I'm not saying he should be in trouble or anything

but it looks like Louisville may have actually ended up with the better deal

He got a alot out of that tOSU beating. Louisville definitely came out on top as Satterfield looks like he will turn things around.

Brad Brownell: more losses than any other coach in school history.
