Clowney has been accused of grandstanding by factions of all three school's fan base. There have been innumerable post and articles speculating about his motives and intentions and through it all he has stayed silent. In the end, it seems he only wanted some extra time to be sure about a decision which could greatly impact his college experience and his future professional career. From what I've seen he's handled it with class ... unlike some others.

I agree with that and his Coach says he absolutely does not enjoy the attention........actually who in their right mind would. Really the only people who like hype and attention really have nothing but that going for them (read Hollywood "entertainers" and "has been" athletes or politicians). This young man clearly has lots going for him! I just wish we had gotten him to visit sooner and a couple more unofficials because I think he would have seen what we all know to be true and good about Clemson. He just had too much history and comfortableness with usc that he was destined to be there. If it were a logical decision with equal time at both places, particularly with his family, I think he would be wearing Orange in September. Gonna be tough playing against him the next 3 years but our future looks bright. Go Tigers
