What is the SEC record for signings? I think I recall someone with 38 ?

Ole Miss had 37 in 2009

they bring em in, then cut em loose if they don't produce

Dec 3, 2013, 9:26 AM

that's why the SEC is a better football conference

Is that a problem? That's how it works in high school.

Aren't these players use to try outs each year ?

With a 150,000-200,000 scholarship on the line, why is college any different than what they are use to ?

you'd think the ACC could make some inroads recruiting

because of that but the same high schools keep sending the players to same schools year after year. if the acc tried this bridges would be burned. I dont get why SEC gets a pass from high schools on this

So, a company that hires you should keep you at least 4 years, even if you are not performing or no longer fits their business model? College football is big business now.
