neighbor, who told me back in August that Clemson would be exposed this season? If they played in a “real” conference, like the SEC, Clemson would be average at best. He bet me $1000 that Clemson wouldn’t make the playoffs.
Well, his hopes and dreams went to crap after the UGA game. He showed up in my yard a week or so after that, drunk, wanting to talk about Coot football. I told him that I didn’t want to talk about it. He was drunk, loud, and he’s a hothead, and my kids were in the yard with me. He kept going on and on, and I finally told him they sucked. Their recruiting sucked. Their coaching sucked. Their play calling sucked. Their campus sucked. He started cussing me out in front of my kids, and I had to run him off my property with a baseball bat. I pretty much figured at that point that I’d sooner see Donald Trump make out with Nancy Pelosi before I’d see that $1000. Of course, he never apologized about his behavior, especially since it was in front of my kids. Haven’t spoken to him since. Oh well....What a season!!!!
