said to his son let's go it's over. His kid said no dad they may come back and his dad said no let's go. The kid pleaded with him to stay. Once Clemson got td and was down 2 I turned to him and said oh I thought you were leaving.

...since I can't remember during a Clemson football game. When UoL went up by 8, I got a lump in my throat so large I had tears in my eyes. It was all I could take to just keep watching, but I will admit that I thought it was over for the Tigers. But, this is not your Tommy Bowden Tigers. This is a hardened bunch where CDS said that "we're built for this type of game!". I've still got some residual Tommy Bowden days left in me. This is a whole new level of Clemson Football.

I told them to stay and reminded them of the peach bowl, but they wanted to beat the traffic.

I'm sure there are way more Tennessee fans who missed the 10 second miracle, but I don't understand the early exit.
