when in high school, was playing against my team and the ref flagged him for hitting our center too hard... several times. Their coach screamed bloody murder and justifiably so, but the ref said, "I don't care what the rules say, your guy is going to kill that poor center and I don't want that on my conscious. Tell him to tone it down."

In all honesty, he was very nice to that kid.

Once he got him in the air he pretty much stop putting much force into putting him down.

I'm glad he did because that's a pretty dangerous situation when a little kid is trying to play football against a grown man.
