So I'm torn on what's better for Clemson with FSU/BAMA

Clemson winning out is all that matters, I get it.. but..

Lots of hypotheticals (heck its week 1!!!). But lets say FSU wins, then both win out with the exception of Clemson beating FSU. The first committee rankings will have them both in the top 4.
Lets say Clemson drops the game against Auburn, works out the kinks, and then runs the table.

Clemson, as defending champ, and ACC winner, and winner of head-head would get the nod over FSU in playoffs right?? No way a conference champ gets left out right, Penn St.?

I think for perception a strong ACC is better for getting in playoff, but I have a hard time seeing how an FSU win is good for Clemson. I really don't believe the committee is going to put 2 from 1 conference in and leave 2 conferences out. And there was too much talk last year about "quality losses." As though in the above scenario our loss to Auburn wouldn't be as good as FSUs loss to us. Crazy talk, but it was the talk last year with our loss to Pitt.

I know it will all work out, but just something I was thinking about. Thoughts??

They'll be no.1 if they win. Us beating a 1 team will give us a shot even with one loss.

Yep - may the Noles fly high til they crash and burn in Death Valley.

Love watching good football, though. Good game all around.
