I see them 9-3 to end the season. Mcsorely is good but Saquan made him able to throw due to his running ability as well as that Penn St team was absolutely STACKED with top tier talent like their TE, Barkley, their pro day had scouts drooling but they still couldn't put it together with that kind of talent. I don't think Franklin is good enough of a coach for the big stage vs equally talented teams where it comes down to the coach to make the call, example going deep vs USC multiple times at the end of the game ultimately causing the loss.

Michigan fails to deliver year after year. OSU has a cloud over the program. Neither have returning starters at QB.
Penn State's Big 10 road schedule is very WEAK too (only Michigan should be competitive). Given all these factors, it's not all that unrealistic a projection.

The schedule sets up nicely for them. They beat Penn St and Michigan last year. And they return 19 starters.

They do play PSU on the road this year (as well as Nebraska who should be improved under Scott Frost). I didn't say that Penn State was necessarily my first pick, just that it isn't all that unreasonable. If they do come out as Big 10 champions (even with one loss), they should be a lock for the CFP).

It's not that - it's just that they couldn't do it with Barkley, it's not gonna happen with McSorley alone.
And, if you're going to go on a limb and deviate how about USC (the real one) or Stanford over UW.
I'd say that had a higher probability than PSU beating out OSU/UM/Wisconsin.

I think PSU or Wisky wins the Big 10. I don't see UM as a contender (just a pretender IMO). The verdict is out on OSU, as they have some quality coaches. It depends on how well they navigate the sideshow with Urban. OSU plays at PSU, so PSU has to lose 2 games to let OSU back in if OSU fails to win there.
