Slow down on the TUA praise

Jan 9, 2018, 1:03 AM

See how he does when some film of him playing gets to the Defensive coaches. He may be just that great. But hold judgement until they play a team prepared to play TUA.

and hit a receiver in stride 40 yards downfield with all the pressure in the world on him. Dude deserves any and all praise he's getting.

The narrative could've been a lot different after he took that deep sack on first down. Talk about redeeming yourself.

Dude lead his team from a comeback win for a national title. Tua deserve all the praise he's getting. Was inserted at halftime cold and showed a lot of poise. Props to Tua and his bright future. That being said it sucked seeing bama win yet another #### title.

Dude handled every obstacle and unforeseen pressure like a 12-year vet. Extended plays, was fully prepared to run the system, made several perfectly-thrown passes... and you’re saying slow the praise? HE won that game for Bama. And Schuessler and Guillermo and some of our former players on twitter questioning the decision to sit Hurts after the first half baffles me. Football isn’t about loyalty to the quarterback. It’s about winning games and what’s best for the team. We could learn a lot from such a bold coaching decision. At least one could argue that point, and soundly.
