I saw this earlier but I’m trying to figure it out. Willies you have a team full of guys from the state of Florida and the south. Your were playing a team from Boise Idaho. So you are saying that your team wilted during the heat and Boise state didn’t. That is 100% on the coaching staff.

Willie lost a football game in Tallahassee with an Illegal formation on fourth down at home with the game on the line?
I am empathetic that he inherited preexisting team infrastructure and culture problems from a predecessor who left FSU with malice.
But Willie and his FSU teams are showing disorganization, dysfunction, lack of game day preparation, and serious player disengagement.
That institution and coaching staff better right their culture and coaching quickly or they risk worse than firing a coach. They may have to reinvent themselves as winners - almost an unthinkable situation for them to be in from where they were 6 years ago.

This is looking more and more like RichRod at Michigan or Charlie Strong at Texas. It’s not working and he’s definitely lost the fan base. Now it’s likely only a question of how long the FSU admin lets it play out.

He didnt leave with malice or the cupboard bare. His recruiting classes for the prior 5 years averaged #3 in the country. He just lost his starting QB in game 1 and it took a while before his team closed the season winning 5 of last 6.
Dont buy the media spin. This one is all on Taggert and his staff.
