Sirrine Hall

I understand the new College of Business building will be finished this summer. What's going to happen with Sirrine Hall? Who will be using it?

It seems like I spent most of my days as a student in that building.

i think they hope to move into the new business building in May

many of the folks from Lehotsky (which is going to be dozed) will be moving into Sirrine

Spent a lot of time in there. Nice quiet corner of the campus at the time.

My office was in Sirrine from mid 1973 until the late 1970's when we moved across the lake to Ravenel.

My dad worked at Sirrine. As a kid he would take us up the freight elevator. I remember the wood floors creaking as you walked down the wide hallways

Some random old building? Lets give it to engineering! Only took one class in Sirrine. Not bad.

My favorite was Long, then Hardin lest favorite was either Lowry or Barre (basement, uggg). I loved Lee before the new addition. Nothing like having a building being numbered like an alternate universe where number are non-sequential.

I was happy to see Sirrine is on the National Register of Historic Places and is therefore safe from "progress."
