at lunch here in DC near the capital.
Conversation went like this:
Coot: you have a big game at the end of the month against uga.
Me: we hate UGA as much at we do
Coot: except when they play Clemson
Me: ---silence---
Coot: ---walks away---
I was waiting for him to start chanting, sec, sec.
After said coot walks away I turn to my friend and said, typical gamecock fan, what an ####.
Why is it all coot fans in DC are like this?

Usually, there is no real way to lose in a UGA/Clemson match-up for us. Either way we get to pick on the loser.
This year, IMO at least, we will be pulling for UGA for the simple fact it is more advantageous for us if they win this game. If UGA loses then they will drop some in the polls making our win the following week not as prominent. A loss for Clemson to start the year should be all but forgotten by the time our game comes around at the end of the season (assuming you guys run the table, as you probably should).
I think it's going to be a good game, either way.

Um... I always think we're going to win. If you don't do that whats the point of watching?
Their defense from last year that couldn't hold us under thirty is now gone... so you think this younger, less experienced defense is the key to them beating us? Makes sense...
