and we all know this won't last forever. BV is loved by all just as much as Dabo is but I believe Dabo can and will bring in the best of the best.

replace BV if he decides to pursue the dream. I think it'll be a similar situation to Scott/Elliott..grow and promote from within, and then backfill with new guys. Start at the bottom in the new culture, and if you fit, you're going to succeed and have opportunity.

BV's agent is doing his due diligence in speaking to interested parties because NOT doing so (and making that known) causes the loss of all negotiating leverage with his current employer. BV is not as interested in being a head coach as some might think, actually loves his immediate situation, and as long as Clemson keeps him happy in that capacity he isn't in a hurry to go anywhere. I think we'll see this pop up every year from now on, and unless some other school has decided that they have to have him at ANY cost, he'll be at Clemson for a while.

you're not interdasted. BV has said many times that he has it made here, he makes HC money (he made more last year than 50+ D1 head coaches) without having to do all the bullshid that a HC has to do. He doesn't like doing interviews or any of that crap, he's very gracious when he does have to do them but he hates it. I look for the staff to get nice raises again this year and BV might actually wind up making about $2 mil in his new contract.
