It’s their time to shine! Excited to see how the depth chart at LB will look. It was filled with so many upperclassmen this year. The freshmen all have amazing opportunities to contribute early. Patterson, Bentley, and Constantine are probably the most prepared. So, really excited to see what they do.

Also, the defensive line looks really good, even though we lost 5 of them. XT, KJ, Foster, and Rudolph provide a great two deep at DE. Nyles and Jordan will be good, Xavier Kelly is in heat 2 at DT, Tyler Davis, Darnell Jefferies, Tayquon Johnson. That’s a good looking group as well.

If nothing else the two deep at LB will be bigger and more athletic next season which never hurts, especially if Simmons stays.

Mike Jones could be the starter if Simmons decides to declare early. Personally, I want Simmons back. He can be an absolute monster next year.
