Kellen Jones ready to hit the field against his former team

When Clemson linebacker Stephone Anthony drew a personal foul penalty after hitting South Carolina quarterback Dylan Thompson in last month’s rivalry game, it set a chain of events in motion that could see linebacker Kellen Jones get a Russell Athletic Bowl start against his former team. It's something that Jones said he is looking forward to. Full Story »

I hope you capitalize on your dream opportunity. Keep those emotions in check and play your assignments. And ball out because you've got #42 chomping at the bit ready to take over. Leave it all on the field!

our players display on balance.

I think in many cases that is the separator in the NFL as well. Credit to Dabo and staff for building a legitimate program here at Clemson. Our best days are ahead!

I had a few upper-level courses with Kellen a couple semesters ago and had the pleasure of getting to know him. He really is a very bright and extremely friendly guy.

Love Kellen's attitude, but his play has to improve

He did not look good at all vs SCar once Anthony went out. Remember that 60 yd play SCar had in the 2nd half. All Kellen. That was just one of several plays where he didn't give us what we needed. He gives great interviews and I love he personality and enthusiasm, but if his play on the field isn't up to par, he don't see how BV can reward him with a lot of playing time. I expect to see a lot of Boulware in the first half vs Okla at MLB.

Agree. Anthony missing the first half will hurt us against
Oklahoma. When he is out of the game, we almost always get gashed
with running plays up the middle. Kellen or someone else needs to
elevate their game between now and the bowl game, but I really don't
se that happening.
