reminded me of a story from my family.
My grandma had a fairly large family. I can't remember for sure, but I think there were 2 daughters and maybe 6 sons. I only ever knew 2 of the sons. I assumed that the others died in WW2, which was true except for one...
One of my grandma's brothers was walking along some train tracks in Prosperity, SC back in the late 30's when he was robbed by two guys. After the two dudes robbed him, they tied him down to the train tracks, where he was eventually run-over by a train. I think he was around the age of 18. Isn't that ridiculous??? Prosperity is a very small town. They were all farmers.
