Scar showed their true colors tonight

Sep 13, 2014, 10:11 PM

When the fans started throwing #### on the field after the interception. They thought the game was about to be over, so did I. Be proud cooters

They threw stuff because of a foul the refs called. Can't remember what it was thought. Maybe a unsportmanlike.

Exactly, coots can win every game they play, but still have no class. I'd rather root for a classy 0-12 Tiger team.

I think our fans wish we had the swagger and swagger that the team responds to. Our d gave up vs UGA and Usuck was dealt a bad hand and grabbed their stones and cowboyed up. Their team knows the fans got their back. If your looking for the class award its like the best smile, doesnt mean jack.

UGA intercepted the ball and a foul was called on USuCk for blocking below the waste on the return by UGA...lol...I hate to say it but that was pretty ridiculous.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

they really showcase our state proudly to the nation.....

Sep 13, 2014, 10:18 PM

Fox showed the bottle chucking on their halftime show just now.

A stadium full of the dimmest bulbs of our otherwise great state.

Dylan threw the int and during the Georgia return, SC receiver Shaq Roland dove at the ball carrier's legs to go for the tackle. He missed, barely clipping the Georgia player's legs. The reason they were throwing stuff is b/c the refs called a personal foul on Roland for an illegal block, putting Georgia half the distance to the goal!! A blocking penalty on a guy diving to make the tackle on the ball carrier?!?! Ridiculous.

Re: Scar showed their true colors tonight

Sep 13, 2014, 10:26 PM

I thought the flag was gonna be on the Scar player that shoved Swann when he stood up after returning the pick. If that's how you're justifying, step back and think about if another team were throwing stuff on the field during that time. Think about how it would look, nevermind no other fans do #### LIKE THAT!

By the way, I'm pretty sure stuff was being thrown that whole game. Saw one replay where a Scar fan was celebrating and a water bottle hit him in the back and his dumb ### kept cheering

Re: Scar showed their true colors tonight

Sep 13, 2014, 10:32 PM

I'm not agreeing with them doing it. It looks terrible. I was just explaining what happened on the play to make them do it. The penalty was called on number 4 on the offense, which is Shaq Roland and he was diving to make the tackle after the int.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

That did seem like a strange call...but one of the biggest

Sep 13, 2014, 3:31 PM

and possibly game changing call, was the Gurley TD run called back because of a veeerry questionable holding call...

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

it was like a 3 yard penalty

Sep 13, 2014, 10:42 PM [ in reply to Re: Scar showed their true colors tonight ]

moved it from the 6 to the 3. Good grief.

You should be sending the refs a bouquet tonight.

badge-donor-05yr.jpg flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

So uga fans should have thrown stuff after holding call that

Sep 13, 2014, 10:44 PM [ in reply to Re: Scar showed their true colors tonight ]

negated a TD that TV showed as non existent? Not to mention the spot!

You have it all wrong, Gamecock Dad. Roland was called for a penalty for clipping the guy that was blocking for Swann. He did not make an attempt to tackle Swann he just went for the Georgia player legs. You gamecock fans will watch the tape of that game incessantly and you will see that the call was correct. The touchdown by Gurley being called back was the determining factor for the win.

Re: Scar showed their true colors tonight

Sep 14, 2014, 1:51 AM

Yeah if Roland was diving at the guy with the ball then he should have been tested for being blind when he came off the field

Re: Scar showed their true colors tonight

Sep 14, 2014, 1:48 AM [ in reply to Re: Scar showed their true colors tonight ]

You're right it looks terrible. That didnt make them do it, nothing made them do it. They chose to do it, bc they thought the game was over IMO. I don't understand why Spurrier has never addressed the problem of trash being thrown on that end, where the visiting team goes in. It's something that Scar fans take pride in tho I feel like. Throwing trash at the away team going in the tunnel is a part of the home field advantage in their mind, seriously

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

That was a d call on Roland but not as bad as holding call

Sep 13, 2014, 10:28 PM [ in reply to Re: Scar showed their true colors tonight ]

on Gurley's TD, the intentionally grounding on Mason on ball defelected by Sc defender and spot on QB sneak at end. Just 1 of those 3 were game-deciding calls but all 3 definitely cost Ga the game.

Re: That was a d call on Roland but not as bad as holding call

Sep 14, 2014, 8:54 AM [ in reply to That was a d call on Roland but not as bad as holding call ]

holding calls are blown a lot (esp. in the SEC), and its hard to tell at the game. I think it was the bizarreness of the call, an illegal block on a defender, that led to the towels on the field. Personally I think they should revoke ticket privileges for any student who is caught.
