five players in South Carolina are signing with USuC and we are thus getting a bad rep with high school coaches. Decide to check out the claim.

2015 number one player - Clemson, two and four to USuC, three and five out of state.

2016 numbers one and two and five - Clemson, three to USuC, four out of state.

2017 numbers one through four to USuC, five to Clemson

2018 numbers two through four to Clemson, five to USuC, one out of state.

2019 numbers one and two to South Carolina, three through five out of State

2020 Numbers one through four to USuC, five out of state.

Totals for past six years: USuC: 14 Clemson 8

2015 South Carolina produced five four star recruits.

2016 South Carolina produced six four star recruits.

2017 South Carolina produced four four star recruits.

2018 South Carolina produced one five and six four star recruits.

2019 South Carolina produced one five and two four star recruits.

2020 South Carolina produced one five and four four star recruits.

Can't build a class on a less than a half dozen four stars in state. maybe that why we have five straight trips to the playoffs, and the coots have watched them all on TV.

Did he mention that 95 % of the ones they signed would have signed with Clemson if the position wasn’t full of 4 and 5 stars ? 3/4 of their class last year and this year signed with them solely to start.

Arguably the best player in the state 2 out of the past 3 recruiting cycles were signed by Clemson but did not show up as being from South Carolina (X-man and Capehart) since they finished their high school career at IMG.

Yes and the post was about DEs. Claiming since 2011 they've gotten every elite in state DE since Clowney except for XT. But failed to point to the truth that in that same time Clemson has gotten Shaq Lawson, Clelin Ferrel, Austin Bryant, KJ Henry, and Myles Murphy. (Off the top of my head and Beasley was 2010) So maybe they're getting the top DE's in the state but that's because we're getting the top prospects wherever we can find them and don't have to just stick to in state unless the player makes the cut.
