Saturday mornings remind me of watching wrestling as a kid..

May 9, 2020, 7:56 AM

And looking back, there have been a lot of great wrestlers over the years. For me, picking a favorite is easy, it’s Goldust. While most of my friends related to Ric Flair, Sting, etc..., I always found myself pulling for Goldust. He just has that je ne sais quoi you look for in a hero. I guess that’s why I’ve spent so much money on his merchandise over the years.

Go Tigers!

One's a footnote on a Saturday morning, the other inspired millions.

Your Tiger Crane is no match for match for my Eagle's Claw, Francis Marion®. Let's hope this is the last we speak of this.

We used to go watch them at the Spartanburg Memorial auditorium back in the day when we was around 12 to 13 years old. I would go with a friend and his Mama would drop us off and afterwards we would walk over to the Krispy Kreme and eat donuts till she picked us up. Good memories. Now about this Saturday morning TV wrestling I got the heck away from it as I could. I had 3 older brothers that wanted to try all the moves they learned on me.

I always liked Jim Cornett calling all the fans rednecks. The real nature boy Buddy Landell messing with Flair, every Saturday watching Mid Atlantic at noon and Gordon Solie calling it on Saturday evening on TBS. Good times
