Sexual abuse of teens. These people are truly sick. If you’re a man and your last name is Sandusky the only thought running through my head is you’re sick too because it must run in the family. Anyways GO TIGERS!!!!

No to excuse but I think some of Jerry's children kids are adopted and I believe one claimed he abused him when young. Not sure which one but they do say it is a pattern often repeated by people who were as children

I'm pretty sure it is Sandusky's adopted son who came forward during the trial to say he had been abused by Sandusky as a boy. Like you said, it's not an excuse, but these cycles do happen.

Often repeated by those who have been abused themselves. (Not all victims become offenders themselves, most are strong survivors) Terrible and sad.

As others have said, this is often a cycle - those abused then become the abusers.

The abused are something like 70% more likely to become abusers themselves , sadly . This is what they refer to as a vicious cycle, I believe .

I didn’t know that he was sexual abused himself. And I also didn’t know that it most of the time the abused turns into the abuser. I feel bad about posting this now.
