SIAP but I’m afraid for Corso

Dec 2, 2017, 10:58 AM

He’s had a good life and career, but it’s sad to see his mental capacities failing. I can’t see him being able to continue his current role on Gameday. Thinking this just might be his last year.

I know we in Clemson Nation have had our differences and disagreements as a result of his Gameday picks against us, but we (and I think he, too, in recent years) has turned it into good natured fun. Its just sad to see any fellow human being experiencing age induced mental decline.

Wishing you the best Lee!

Whatever choice(s) you make makes you. Choose wisely.

That's the best time of life.

..... yeah, my better days - and mental acuity - are behind me, too. Perhaps that’s why the thought struck me while watching him.

Appreciate the catch, my friend!

Now, where did I leave the remote.....

I've said the same. It's been tough to watch for a couple of years now. I don't think he cares for Clemson but that is beside the point. I will miss him when he's gone. He's been great for the game of college football and we will never see another like him.

Just signed a multi-year contract extension in May

Lee Corso's problem isn't his mental capacity. The stroke he had has impacted his SPEECH, in particular the ability to verbalize the thoughts in his head.
