The people going to hospitals today were infected 2 weeks ago. We won’t see effects of social distancing until early April

No problem right guys? Heck we gotta stop the measures imposed on business , right guys? Went to work today, saw our covid tent was erected over the weekend by the emergency room, what a waste of money, right guys? We are waaaay above 299 and that is a fact. Nation wide we crossed the 100 deaths in a 24 hour period, soon to be way higher, I am panicking right guys? So far 127 nursing homes have at least 1 case, they are old so it’s all okay, right guys?

29 million got the flu this season. I guess we should start shutting everything down every winter right?

20x the criticality rate and close to that in morbidity....

There are still no numbers on the infectious rate because of the asymptomatic transfers...
There really isn't a reason to compare the two...other than willfully blind ignorance.

We have no answer for the flu either other than medicine that may or may not work and has side effects. The vaccines aren’t guaranteed either. Plenty of people come down with a bad case after getting a flu shot.

You do know the flu shot is a best estimation of the many strains that could occur, it is an educated guess they hope they got right.

Nursing homes are the most frightening incubating

humidors for this thing. Shotgun wings full of vulnerable and a lot of traffic around among caretakers. Chokepoints galore.
Concentration, poor circulation, prolonged exposure, Covid 19 seems to really get it on in these spots. And cruise ships - weekslong voyages in tight quarters. Dense Wuhan markets and workspaces, wet and wintered, people packed on top of another, where a lot of people catch the flu regularly and get weak, and this bug found a home.
Cleaning your home, cleaning your work space, cleaning yourself, breathing God's good air outside and limiting contact with non-immediates don't seem to be conditions that give it much opportunity to take hold. But I'll guess we'll find out soon enough.

If you test 1000, you are going to get 70. It’s simple math. The more you test, the more that have the virus.

Yeah I'm hoping it's mostly because of more testing
