Terrible call imo. Ed Cunningham was ready to proesecute the defender. He wrapped up the Vanderbilt player!

Put your head down, and try to wrap up. It is almost impossible to do so effectively. When you do, it naturally pushes your head even FURTHER down. If the rule reflects what they actually called that "superman sack" they showed earlier on GameDay, was targeting, as was almost EVERY hit we put on Frenchy last week. I understand the injuries they are trying to avoid, and don't disagree that you shouldn't be able to spear or hit helmet to helmet. But if that is the rule they are following, there is "targeting" on EVERY play
