IMO, with the recruits that has come to Clemson since Dabo becoming the head FB coach, Roscoe Crosby shouldn't be in the Top 10!!!

We've had a whole bunch of dudes come to Clemson in the past decade.
But, when we got Roscoe there was this sense of "Man, I think we can win it all with him!" He was a legitimate big time player coming out of high school. And he was the exact kind of player we never used to get. It would be the equivalent of Zion signing with Brownell. That's how much of a big time recruit Roscoe was.
It didn't pan out and he never made waves in the NFL like so many of our other WRs. But, at the time, he was kind of a big deal.

At that time, IMO the most talked about and possibly the highest rated recruit in Clemson history.
Especially when you add in his baseball prowess.
It was "as if" he could turn the program around by himself.
Anyway, that's the way I recall it.

6 of top 9 are on the team this fall. Wow.
I know it’s based on their rating system, but Spiller was a major recruit in terms of kicking this whole thing off.

Those rankings are based on assessments out of high school (nothing past that point in their career). So actually it makes perfect sense.

He was A great player until he got his knee torn up on a short underthrown pass in the left flats. He was wide open by ten yards and when the ball hit the ground he stopped and the defensive guy kinda took his knees out.... really a career ending injury for him. He was never the same afterwards
I coached against him in baseball and he was by far the best hs player i saw
