Were calls fair tonight? Just wondering.

We're playing Kansas in Big 12 country, only was able to watch a little bit of the game but what I saw was pro Kansas

Agree. Thought refs missed quite a few calls

Mar 23, 2018, 11:39 PM

I can think of about 3 or 4 calls that were wrong - favoring KU, and several non-calls that could/should have been called against KU.

Why do people always think the refs are there to favor the local team? It's not like they hire refs from whatever town they're in at the time.

I think the idea is the refs play to the home crowd. Teams

have a much better home record for probably for a lot of reasons, including crowd support but possibly also due to favorable calls.

Well aren't they, isn't that the #1 reason that the better team usually lose on the road. I'm convinced that the refs always give the home team the benefit of doubt especially if the home crowd is known as being mean spirited and red neck. The refs are scared shiotless at those types of home games;)

I thought so, let both teams play physical

Mar 23, 2018, 11:22 PM

And was consistent for each team. They missed some calls on both sides. Unfortunately this style of play was right up Kansas alley

Really, are you a member of the special group of IPTAY donors, glad that you announced how special you are. Did you know that there are a lot of IPTAY donors that donate really big checks that never brag or wear a tag that they're an IPTAY donor, and how it makes them care more for student athletes;)

They were not just favoring the home team and crowd but more of the #1 team. Got to make seclection committee look good.
