This team couldn’t hit the broad side of a barn if it was wide open. Pathetic that kids who have been playing baseball their whole life can’t recognize different kinds of pitches, and have never been taught to battle with 2 strikes. Don’t let Monte fool you at this point, folks. He’s just here to collect a fat, comfortable paycheck. 5 years in, and he’s done absolutely nothing to advance the quality, consistency, or recruiting caliber of this program.

Hall has really regressed. He used to be one of my favorite players, now I cringe when he’s in the lineup. He either strikes out or pops up. He watched three very hittable fastballs go right by him, and missed a hanging curve that had a neon hit me sign on it.
