You're right. And beating a 1AA team shouldn't count towards bowl eligibility. It's like the 'participation trophies' our youth are given today though. Guess it's just the society we live in

It's no longer about football... football is only a platform for the billions of dollars worth of advertising the games bring the TV networks. More games, more commercials. Heck, that's why with 4 minutes left in the game last night, and the score 35-13, ESPN had two "media timeouts" that must have lasted 4 minutes each! ...as we sat in the stands and froze our a$$es off!
