Because he sure wasn't going to learn it from his dad or his uncle. ;)

more than just coaching skills-but life skills and how to be a man.

Go Dabo.

His quote is from 2011, but that writer is an a$$***

The quote fropm Ryan was from 2011.they've

been raving on the Bama boards about it for months. ONCE Rex saw Clemson and met Dabo, that's where he wanted his son. SEC homers can't stand it, so you get articles like this. This fact is the Ryan family wanted there son to learn from Dabo and staff, not SEC crooks. You know had they picked Bama, ESPN would be running specials about how an NFL(2nd generation 9where coaching is the family business)coach wanted his son learning from Saban and the SEC.

That's the truth. Like Dabo said, they want us to go awy, we're going no where, only getting better.

You nailed it. If I thought I would ever visit nj.com again

Feb 7, 2013, 10:51 AM

I would e-mail the editor and ask him if he thinks his writers are THIS bad or if he was intentionally trying to skew a story (or create one) where there wasn't a story. If he admits that it's misleading but nothing was done to the writer, I would never visit that site again. That article isn't even bad writing...it's flat-out lying.

Like you said, if the kid or his father had chosen Alabama we would be hearing about how good Saban is and how NFL coaches want their sons to learn from him. But this NFL coach wants his son to learn from Dabo Swinney and his coaching staff. I'm not surprised that that produced crickets, but I am shocked that this guy went far enough to make up a story.

Dumb article. First commenter says neither Clemson or Alabama are known for their academics. Shows what he knows. Nothing!

You want to learn to COACH???

Feb 7, 2013, 1:32 PM

I'm pretty sure Seth picked the right place :)

Saban just looks so disinterested to be there. I bet he asked the BCS to just mail the trophy next time.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

That leaves me in a no win situation.

Accept the criticism or insult a Clemson walkon.

No, we just need to see that this kid turns out to fool his father and become a great football player.

Come on Dabo, show daddy how wrong he is about this. Make the kid focus on his position.
