Rewatching the Cotton Bowl game today

I think this Notre Dame team might have beat Alabama! Their Defense was the real deal. Yet, we still won 30-3!!!

We need to enjoy every moment of whats happening right now. This is fun guys!

15-0 and IMO...the best team ever! #ALLIN

Yes yes. ND defense especially the line was so much more active than Bama’s was

Bama couldn't finish any drives against us but they moved the ball rather well. ND basically did nothing against us all game.

My initial impressions of their defense were high. I was proven right when we smoked Bama.

I didn't they would just that they could. I think their Defense was good enough to have kept them in the game with a chance to win.

Plus Alabama's Defense wouldn't have stopped them like we did. Our D was insanely good. They would have scored some points. IMHO ??

ND defense was legit. ND offense was offensive...

Their D was great, but when Love got hurt, we took advantage of his replacement. We also took advantage of the size/speed disparity between our WR's and their safety (the transfer from Navy whose name escapes me.)

I think Bama would have beaten them pretty handily as well. I just don't think their offense would have put up enough points to stay in the game. Bama probably beats them 24-10 or something along those lines.
