Repectfully, is it time Clemson fans grew a thicker hide?

Dec 31, 2017, 8:17 PM

When Clemson wins tomorrow to advance to the National Championship game on January 8.Will it honestly matter to YOU, the real Clemson Fan, when the media starts telling the world how Bama had injuries to key players? Are you really more concerned by the perception of a few biased sports reporters ( I use the word reporter loosely here)? I for one do not care. They can say whatever they wish because two things are a certainty.

Dabo is going to let them know for a FACT that Clemson is the better team who just so happened to have beaten an annual great team! And secondly for absolute certain Clemson will be headed to the National Championship regardless of what those reporters are contracted to say about Bama.

I'm just saying peeps.I get it some of y'all get bent out of shape because ESPN or CBS mouth breathers don't always paint our team in a respectful light 24/7, but at the end of the day I'll take championships over popularity contests any day of the year.

GO TIGERS!!!BEAT BAMA!!!LEAVE NO DOUBT!!!!

That’s what I was referencing when I put up the thread about ALABAMA EXCUSES, or any other team we play and kick the sh** out of! There is always a reason why they lost the game! It’s never because CLEMSON IS CLEARLY COMPLETE DOMINATION!! Maybe I do need to get a thicker skin, but it’s hard not to want punch them suckers in the nose!!! I just don’t listen to it anymore!

I hope the media is making excuses for Alabama. That will only mean one thing. WE WON!
Personally, I love being the underdog!
Go Tigers!

Nostradamus wrote his first set of Quatrains in the year 1555:

"The young tiger will overcome the older tide,
On the field of combat in a single battle;
He will pierce his eyes through a golden cage,
Two wounds made one, then he dies a cruel death."

I think Nostradamus was writing about Dabo beating Saban and ending Alabama's football dynasty for good.

I like your interpretation but, the actual quatrain:
Century1, Quatrain 35

“The young lion will overcome the older one,
in a field of combat in single fight:
He will pierce his eyes in their golden cage;
two wounds in one, then he dies a cruel death”

Still works
GO TIGERS!!!

a huge resounding YES.
even after we win we will have detractors and we will have to keep up this same standard of competitiveness over several more years until it is assumed by all that we will win.

if you are old enough to recap 78 and the excitement associated with just getting to a bowl game, you know just how sweet things are right now. if you are not so old, just enjoy this season of success. it hasn't always been here and will not stay forever.
