The 4 years prior to that period ND had 8. The common opinion since the matchup was announced yesterday is that we have a significant talent advantage over the domers. I'm not drawing any conclusions as to the result of the game from this, but it is nice to know we really do have the "hosses" in this battle. If our coaches draw a good plan up and our boys bring their A-game, we got this by 14+.

I'm predicting an Ohio State style blowout against ND. They're not very good at passing which can make their offense one dimensional. ND has a very mediocre defense against the run as well, which opens up passing lanes, but their passing defense is top notch. Of course, they haven't played against a team that has a top QB and WR corps yet. Still believe that it will be a blowout.
