I don't think I was alone in thinking that Alabama flat out quit in the fourth quarter, and that Clemson could have scored at any point in that 90-plus yard drive to eat the clock. (I didn't so much want to run it up on Alabama as run it up on Paul Finebaum, Saban's lap poodle.)
Alabama never quit, but Clemson did break their will early and often.
Desptite what Quinnen Williams and Tua said after the game about Alabama losing to Alabama it was obvious that Clemson could score at-will against 'Bama. On the other side of the ball, whenever 'Bama got inside the red-zone their bread-and butter plays got stuffed by our defense.
