to do with Watson hasn't practiced solely with the first team offense yet and he is trying to push him this week.
Stoudt has led the team to 4 straight wins, so giving Watson the start automatically would probably not be the best way to motivate Watson and keep him from keeling entitled.
Just my thoughts.

Why does it have to be one or the other (defense leading the way vs. offense leading). Cole has been the quarterback for most of the snaps and we have won the last 4 games. Cole was steady for us as a starter and for that I am thankful. It is ALL about WINNING. Always has been and always will be.

I think it might be for GT's benefit. Give them potentially 2 QB's to prepare for....I hope that is it.

their defense better be prepared to defend the middle of the field. DW can and will throw it downfield across the middle. Cole...not so much.

CS doesn't bring a different element. They're not sitting in the defensive film room saying, "here's something CS does that DW doesn't do"

One has elusive play-making capability in running you have to plan for (as well as more threat in the deep ball accuracy), the other not so much.

The depth chart really shouldn't be released until Thurs, idk why they put it out so soon. 2 days prior to a game is more believable.
