Rehashing the natty. Most journalists said Bama had better

Jan 16, 2019, 7:30 PM

recievers going into the game. I thought they were crazy when they said that. Were they not watching us all year? Our starting receivers catch everything period. That’s Higgins, Ross, Renfrow and Rodgers.

Well, heard someone on SEC show say same thing 7 days AFTER Bama lost with those WR’ers!

Some people believe the more they say it the more likely people will believe it. It’s called denial. Can’t stand being wrong......

I actually read a comment somewhere that said Ross would be the 6th best receiver on Bama. That's a bunch of B.S. and I'm sure that story wont be seen again.

I am honestly not that impressed by Ruggs and Smith. Jeudy is a beast but Higgins and Ross are easily better than Ruggs and Smith.

I agree with Jeudy being very hood. He is the only Bama receiver that would be on Clemson's 2018 2-deep list.

I give him credit. He played hard for the entire natty game, despite our pressure on Tua resulting in limited catches after the first TD.

The group I watched with said that Jeudy and Jacobs looked like the only two members of the Bama offense that weren't mailing it in in the 4th quarter. Those included some very knowledgeable Ohio State, Penn State, and Georgia fans as well as the good guys.

The only way anyone says that is based on recruiting stars, which is idiotic and symbolic of a complete lack of knowledge of the actual players.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

That's because if Nick signs them they are the best.

Jan 17, 2019, 6:00 AM

Here's the logic, 'Nick is the best coach because Alabama is the best team in the best conference, therefor, Alabama has the best players.' If Alabama has the best players they must all be 4 and 5 stars.' Don't think for a minute that's not how Alabama wins ESPiN recruiting national championship year after year.

The logic is called 'circular,' for a reason.

Well gotta be horrendously bad, terrible & completely awful

coaching.

The first clue that they paid no attention to Clemson...

Jan 17, 2019, 5:53 AM

early on was when they didn't hunker in the corner of their offices and mom's basement, tremble in fear and weep at seeing Trevor throw the ball in the Clemson Spring Game. The second clue was when they didn't stay hunkered down when Dabo named Trevor the starter. The only reason they even knew it was because KB transferred and they though there was a schism in Clemson football.

I'v said it all year. No one is watching Clemson play. Why do you thing they all picked Alabma?

Even crazier than that , some gamecock fans thought before the season ,

THAT THEY MAY HAVE THE BEST RECEIVING GROUP IN THE COUNTRY .

badge-donor-05yr.jpg flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Bama's receivers are very good....maybe even comparable

Jan 17, 2019, 6:45 AM

to Clemson's. Certainly in same ball park.

Difference in the Natty was that TL > Tua. And Clemson's offensive line played better than Bama's.

Those 2 things weighed greater than the gap between the two schools WR's.

Bamq receivers are quick twitch guys. Ours are jump balls guys nfl ready.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

I think as a group the bama WRs

Jan 17, 2019, 9:36 AM

Are one of the best in the country. What makes Clemson's WR group better is that both Higgins and especially Ross are freaks. They are both taller than any of the bama WRs and are about impossible to cover.

So yeah, I think they got it wrong when they stated the bama WRs are better.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

but they ain't played nobody PAAWWWWLLL!!***
