I hate to be pessimistic but my spidey sense tells me he's only mentioning Clemson so much to create additional drama come announcement day. I can't help but think he's just setting us up to throw the tiger hat aside. I hope I'm wrong.

Could ESecPN try any harder not to mention Clemson???? It's unbelievably obvious they go out of their way to point out their "sponsor" schools. Makes me sick

..when he said that seeing all of our big-time recruits sign was exciting. How could he not want to be a part of that.
I think he was favoring the shamecocks because they're closer to home, but once Dabo convinces him that Clemson is close enough to your family but far enough to be cool, he might change his mind.
That would be great if he did, and Clown' the yardbirds!

uniform was it was almost like they were trying to influence the outcome of his decision. i'm not paranoid. I'm a reporter and i understand how people perceive the media.

no joke. i think today was the deciding factor. he took note of the SERIOUS talent that signed with us today. and you better believe those new recruits are gonna be on his @ss about following them to Tiger Town. Scar is just a flash in the pan and he knows it. he's got A LOT of time to think this through. this class will weigh heavy on him.
and i bet the reason why they didn't put him in a Clemson uni is because we are relative "new-comers" on the scene in his recruitment. we didn't emerge until recently. there's that, and then there's the fact that ESPN only cares about the sec

He wants to win. And when he looks at the coot class, he is looking at a pot full of 3 stars. When he was looking at the Clemson class today, he was looking at a pot full of bright talented 4 and 5 stars. He saw the tide turn for Clemson today, and he liked what he saw. He said, it makes me want to play with them....

I saw the interview as it was going on. I think he has changed his mind. The fact that we had such a great recruiting class is definitely weighing on his mind. He can see what we have accomplished and wants to be a part of it. He thinks he has a great chance of getting playing time next year and falling into the same spot as De'Quan. He will be a TIGER!!!!
