There should be no shock about it. It's a miracle he lasted this long. What is a shock is how kids seem to think all still will be okay if they go. I doubt this doesn't effect them for several years, but it will depend on sanctions. Doubtful they will get what they deserve. This was much more than buying a few sweatshirts or paying a dental bill. Those things go on everywhere. The Academic Fraud is the worst of all violations, and it goes to the core of character. That is the unforgivable part. I still bet it gets swept under the rug, minimized, and soon it will be back to business as usual, and their smug noses stuck up high in the air. Still a huge embarrassment though.
