Recommendations in Mt. Pleasant/Charleston Area to watch gam

Nov 25, 2015, 3:07 PM

My wife and I are headed to Mt. Pleasant this weekend for Thanksgiving and I was wondering if any of you guys had a "go to" place that comes to mind to watch the game. I'm from the area but haven't really been home since I was drinking age so I don't know where to go. Pro Clemson bar is preferred....

GO Tigers!

Here are a few places Tigers are known to go...

My go to spots are:

Midtown - Downtown joint owned by Clemson grads, where Clemson games are featured. Meeting spot for Charleston County Clemson Club.

The Alley - Awesome, big downtown place also owned by Clemson Grads where Clemson games are featured. Has bowling, skee ball, pool, etc also.

Get to both early for prime seating.

Go Tigers!

Don't go to Midtown unless you want to hang with these bros

Don't drive all the way to Ladson unless...well, I don't even need to complete that sentence

Bay St Bier Garten is legit but usually a long wait for table.

If you want something that will have the sound on, decent environment, decent bar food, and won't have to wait too long, either of the King St. Grille will work. Mount Pleasant one is actually the better of the two in my opinion. Also a bit more of a mixed crowd. Most of the places DT are very pre-30. If that is what you are into, then go for it.

I have first hand knowledge of Bay Street Biergartens and The Alley.
I did not know they were Clemson owned. Great to know. Both are outstanding!!
