did not take part in the early signing day back in December. In the wake of all the coaches fleeing Tuscaloosa, wonder if there will be defections among their recruits.

It’s because Saban waits to see how his current players perform in postseason before he decides which ones to cut. Once he knows who he’s cutting then he knows who he needs to sign.

They signed a bunch of guys in Dec.

Saban said (or at least it is attributed to him) “Either sign in December, or move on, because Alabama is not holding spots for anyone wanting to play games. We will win with or without you.”
