Its sad though that many people are trying to frame the argument as "what's worse, murder or looting"? As if you can't condemn both.

violence against other human beings, starts fires or loots small businesses. If it was up to me, the arsonists would be shot on sight. I can't find it in me to care about a Target or some other corporate big-box being relieved of a portion of their inventory, though, at least if the cause is righteous.

The wasted tea belonged to a foreign company, from a

country that was oppressing us from afar, and that company was, for all practical purposes, and extension of that oppressive government. They were the target of the anger and resulting violence. Today, the target (and victims) of the violence is other innocent Americans who have nothing to do with the original incident. Many of the victims are minorities, African Americans, and all of this is supposedly to gain justice for them. It's a farce.
