isn't perfect. Who the heck is?
In the mid to late 70s most football players smoked pot. Plus, I never met an African-American football or basketball player(or African soccer player) who would turn down a hit of a joint.
I've always assumed it was much the same today, and alcohol (because of hangovers) isn't always the drug of choice for athletes who have to perform.

that was my experience in H.S. and college. A lot of white players would also, and I never met a white player who would turn down a cold beer. A few blacks would, though, and preferred pot.

Who cares, I'm sure half of our team smokes pot, some friends of mine smoked with one of our best players the other week (will remain unnamed of course)...but seriously, pot is less harmful than alcohol, give the KID a break.
