We would likely finish 3-5th in conference, make a run in the Tourney. I don't think we would beat UVA or UNC. Maybe Duke/FSU. At worse, VT-level.
It isn't just Zion but the rest of the team around him too. Teams would focus all on Zion and while he will do OK, Reed would be good, but Duke has 4 playeers with 10+ points, 3 with 18+ against FSU right now.

If Zion played for Clemson he would be in foul trouble every game played against the blue blood teams

Refs WOULD probably screw him, especially against Duke and UNC (when in blue, different rule) if in Orange, but otherwise a CHANCE he would’ve done just as well. We actually would have had a real good support cast for him. Barret and even Reddish foolishly think they r just as good. Amazing how often they don’t ensure he gets touches. Z is uniqe; if Jones and Barret play well they can go far. But if Z in foul trouble, their lack of depth may doom them.

He would have been the consistent 18-25 pts each game we were missing this year (ie the scoring we miss without Davoe). Skara likely would not have returned from Europe, but Zion makes plays on D so maybe not too much drop on defense. He and Thomas would have been a lethal inside threat, and Sims would have been a good 6th man. What is not mentioned is his passing skills to setup teammates. Yes he would have been foul prone against Duke and NC due to ref bias, but there is no denying how much dynamic we would have added to the offense. I say we would only have lost 5 maybe 6 games and be an Elite 8 type team.
Please note I think it would be a one year phenomena. After leaving the team they would go back to average at best unless success this year brought a couple McDonalds All Americans for year after next, which I personally think would not happen.
